A tropical atmosphere, filled with light and color, which helps to exteriorize the rich world we have inside. The ocean breeze, the smell and taste of honey, long walks in new places, the wrinkles of our eyes as we laugh, all these details are what keeps life interesting and fun. It is totally fine to feel insecure sometimes, but if we weigh our fears on one side of a scale, and all the wonderful things we have lived on the other side, positive aspects will weight far more. That is why it is so important to focus all of our energies on that which gives us peace, joy and strength, this is, focusing on the “sunny side of life”. We only get one life to live, and if we don’t learn to enjoy it, we won’t get to experience all the beautiful things life has to offer. Dare to be bold, carefree, unique, letting your inner light shine as bright as possible.
Nature is full of a variety of beautiful colors that can be used as natural dyes. From time immemorial, vegetables, fruits and plants were extracted to be used as pigments to give color, making this craft a tradition. These dyes are antibacterial, antifungal, non-toxic and non-allergenic when they come in contact with human skin. I decided to focus on natural dyes for Tropical Sunlight Collection rather than synthetic dyes in order to prevent textile factories from dumping untreated chemicals into rivers and water bodies, making it impossible for the ecosystem to live there.
Sustainable and multifunctional box that is transported as a bag. It has been thought as a way to return to the natural origin, that is, taking into account the process of how the silk worms are stored and fed for the production of the fabric. The packaging materials are a solid cardboard for the box, peace silk scraps that are not used after making the dresses for the handle, and Biobase ink for the logo that will be printed on the surface of the solid cardboard. The solid board is made of 100% recyclable and durable material that can be composted.
